About the role
The Legal team sits at the heart of Revolut and is a core part of the business. Members of the team provide front-line guidance and support to all areas of the company, contributing to decisions that impact Revolut’s growth every day. From structuring credit programmes to launching into new territories, the Legal team does it all.
We’re looking for a Legal Counsel who's an expert on consumer credit and financial regulations to advise Revolut on compliance and legal issues around our financial features.

What you'll be doing
Advising the business on compliance and legal issues surrounding structuring of new and existing financial features
Drafting customer-facing legal documents for these products
Being an integral part of product and commercial teams, helping to design and deliver solutions that are compliant with relevant legislation and regulations
Helping structure and expand Revolut’s products, managing regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications
Proactively engaging and working alongside local regulators
Excelling at leadership while also undertaking executional work to handle significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times
What you'll need
4+ years of PQE
Excellent academic and law firm credentials
Experience advising on financial regulation in consumer credit and advising on related credit products, such as unsecured loans and credit card products
Expertise in relevant financial regulations and advising clients in the following areas: consumer credit legislation, PSD II, and banking regulations
Sound judgement, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset
Confidence making decisions where there's ambiguity or incomplete information
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
