In the framework of this job description, we have been asked to provide services in the context of the Polish Presidency of the EU that will take place from 1 January 2025 – 30 June 2025
Who you will work with:
Caroline 'Ostara' Teugels - the founder of Simply Polska. She is a dynamic professional with extensive leadership and strategic management experience across various sectors. Her career spans over a decade, including roles as a Tour Guide at SimplyKrakow.com and New Markets Manager for Victor Energy Polska Sp.z.o.o. She previously served as Executive Director of an international federation, leading global initiatives for five years, and as Press and Communication Manager at Special Olympics Belgium, where she organized major events such as the 2014 European Summer Games. Caroline is currently on the lookout for different dynamic, communicative, and tech-savvy individuals to join her team as an Accreditation & Support Officer. What you'll do:

Be point of contact for ministries and event organizers, providing functional support for our accreditation web application.

Communicate in English and Polish to answer questions and provide guidance.

Work closely with various ministries, assisting them in managing the registration and accreditation process for their events.

Deliver training sessions (with support from experts) to help ministries and organizers use the software.

Coordinate support efforts with hardware providers to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Write incident reports and share them with dedicated software provider to help improve the system.
Who we’re looking for:

You speak and write English (C1) and Polish (C1/C2) fluently, making communication easy and effective.

Tech-curious: You’re comfortable navigating web applications and have a basic understanding of hardware, though previous technical support experience isn’t necessary.

Empathetic and customer-focused: You can connect with people and understand their needs, even in high-pressure situations.

Strong interpersonal skills and intercultural competences to contact with ministries, colleagues and superiors from different backgrounds

Adaptable and resilient: You can stay calm under pressure and quickly adjust to new situations.
Mandatory prerequisites:

European or EFTA nationality (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland) or a valid work permit for Poland.

Clean criminal record and willingness to undergo a security clearance check by polish authorities.
- The signing of a confidentiality clause is a prerequisite for taking on the assignments.

Contract details:
- Expected assignment period: from December 2024 to the end of June 2025

Location: Kraków with approximately 30-40 days on-site in various locations across Poland.

Full-time role with a commitment of 40 hours per week.
- Preferred form of cooperation - mandate contract

Occasional weekend assignments may be necessary.
- Working hours:
December 2024: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
January 2025 to June 2025: option 1: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or option 2: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
