Finance Manager – FP&A & Business Performance

About the Role

Our client is looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to support business performance, financial planning, and decision-making across multiple markets in Central and Eastern Europe.

This role sits at the intersection of FP&A, business partnering, and operational finance. Rather than focusing on accounting or statutory reporting, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving financial insights, improving reporting quality, supporting forecasting and budgeting processes, and helping the business make data-driven decisions.

The role offers regular exposure to senior stakeholders, including regional leadership and finance executives. It will play an important part in improving financial transparency, operational efficiency, and business performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across multiple business units and markets.

• Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and performance analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making.

• Provide meaningful commentary and recommendations based on financial results and business performance.

• Partner closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve business outcomes.

• Monitor profitability, margins, costs, and key business KPIs.

• Support investment decisions through financial modelling, scenario planning, and business case development.

• Drive improvements in reporting processes, data quality, and financial transparency.

• Participate in finance transformation initiatives, including reporting enhancements and process standardization projects.

• Support ERP-related projects and implementation of new reporting tools and systems.

• Track agreed improvement initiatives and ensure benefits are delivered as planned.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, Controlling, or Finance Manager roles.

• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.

• Ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.

• Experience working with senior stakeholders and supporting business decision-making.

• Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge.

• Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365, AX, SAP, Oracle or similar) would be an advantage.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Fluent English.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.
