Senior FP&A Specialist performs period end close activities, advanced financial planning and analysis including analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, forecasts, scenarios, providing detailed insights to assist in decision making processes. Identifies process obstacles and inefficiencies, proposing and taking concrete improvements to enhance operational effectiveness and drive the company's growth.
Role focused on managing the chargeback model to track, allocate, and recover costs.
Your responsibilities would include:
Executing complex managerial accounting & reporting actuals and planning tasks on time to ensure efficient service delivery; addressing open issues independently and supporting resolution
Safeguarding the quality of Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation process by maintaining effective governance in place
Optimizing own performance to increase productivity, recommending changes of process standards and procedures, identifying areas for process/report standardization
Performing complex analysis of business performance versus budget and forecast and benchmarking of key performance indicators with external and internal peers and explaining variances
Analyzing financial data and providing valuable business insights to ensure fact‑based decisions
Ensuring adequate and dedicated support to responsible Business Controller
Supporting Business Control during business discussions by being an active part of relevant governance
Monitoring controlling datasets by tracking activity, resolving problems, ensuring data consistency and recommending actions
Defining and co‑ordinating preparation of relevant organization planning, budgeting and forecasting in line with local & global governance; validating accuracy of plan data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions
Understanding financial impact of changes to plan made by Business Control function and accordingly taking ownership of adjusting those in reporting tools
Ensuring processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with Group and unit requirements
Maintaining proper audit trail and documentation, ensuring SOPs are prepared and updated, ensuring service delivery is within the agreed SLAs and KPIs
Cooperating with FP&A Controller on analyses, planning and forecasting
Performing any other task assigned by TL within the scope of functional responsibilities
You are a good match if you have:
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
6+ years of relevant professional experience including minimum 5 year performing finance analysis
Experience of working in service delivery model environment
Experience in working with BI systems
Very good understanding of financial statement and accounting principles
Excellent written and verbal English
Nice to have:
CIMA or ACCA
LSS Certificates
Practical application of process understanding from the content and technical (IT) perspective
Business Acumen
Good communication, problem solving and analytical skills as well as proven ability to prioritize tasks and achieve objectives
Ability to work in fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple work assignments simultaneously and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast
