Senior Sales Planner
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Planner / Sales Performance Analyst to support commercial teams across the Nordic markets with high-quality sales insights, margin analysis and performance tracking.
This role sits at the intersection of sales, commercial strategy and analytics, acting as a trusted partner for sales leaders and key stakeholders. You will translate sales data into actionable recommendations that directly influence sales plans, campaigns and strategic decisions.
The position involves close cooperation with local sales teams in the Nordic region and includes regular business travel to Nordic countries (on average once per month) to build strong market understanding and relationships.
As a Senior Sales Planner you will be responsible for several processes and you will closely cooperate with multiple stakeholders.
You will:
Prepare management and headquarters reports (estimated results, forecasts, preliminary results), monitor daily and monthly deviations, support with compliance reporting (JSOX), ensuring data quality and adherence to deadlines.
Analyse sales and gross margin data for senior and local sales teams to identify trends, suggest improvements, provide qualitative feedback, and drive campaign strategies.
Plan, prepare and drive the execution of the yearly budget, collaborate with Product Managers on pricing setup, and participate in the setup of yearly sales strategies.
Act as a key user of SAP, Webshop, and CRM systems by providing ongoing departmental support, handling inquiries, and driving process standardization initiatives.
Collaborate with Sales Managers to define the strategic direction for sales plans and actions. Monitor their performance to adapt and optimise the outcome.
Track and analyse KPIs (new customers, visits, discounts, profitability, quotations, pick up rate) critical for the success of the company strategy.
Gather and analyse market and competitor data to inform strategic decision-making.
What we are looking for:
Experience and expertise
Several years of experience in sales analysis, commercial controlling, sales planning or sales performance analytics
Strong hands-on experience in sales data analysis and margin analysis
Proven track record of working closely with sales or commercial teams
Experience analysing pricing, discounts, profitability or price-volume-mix is a strong advantage
Exposure to international or multi-market environments is a plus
Analytical and technical skills
Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, data modelling, large datasets)
Hands-on experience with sales or reporting systems – SAP (mandatory)
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
Soft skills and mindset

Confidence in discussing results with sales leadership and stakeholders
Analytical mindset with attention to detail, while maintaining a big-picture view
