Accounts Receivable Accountant (e-commerce)

We’re looking for an Accountant (Accounts Receivables) to join our Finance Team and support our day-to-day sales accounting operations. Our Finance Team plays a key role in the business — handling core accounting tasks while closely collaborating with other departments to help them make informed decisions. 

This role is a great opportunity if you’re accurate, motivated to learn, and keen to develop your skills in sales accounting — even if you’re still at the beginning of your career (we don’t require much prior experience).

Once you join our Team you will be responsible for:

• Verifying, issuing, and posting sales invoices

• Handling returns and adjustments related to sales corrections

• Collaborating with the Customer Support team on sales settlements

• Verifying VIES numbers for EU transactions

• Entering selected accounting documents into the system

• Supporting the preparation of auxiliary reports (e.g. CC599C, Intrastat)

• Preparing GUS (Central Statistical Office) reports

• Supporting payment preparation and posting bank statements (as backup)

• Assisting with account reconciliation and register analysis

• Contributing to month-end closing activities

Job requirements

• Experience in an accounting department in a similar role

• Accuracy and analytical thinking

• Basic knowledge of tax regulations

• Willingness to learn and develop in the area of sales accounting

• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

• Fluent Polish and at least communicative English

• Working from our Warsaw office 3 days a week

Nice to have (but not required):

• Experience with FK Symfonia accounting software

• Experience in an e-commerce company exporting goods to the EU
