Supplier Quality Engineer

Duties:

• participating in the supplier selection, development of suppliers in quality aspects, responsible for supplier auditing

• implementing appropriate quality and procurement processes

• acting as contact person for suppliers on quality-related matters

• identifying and implementing best practices in collaboration with suppliers and internal WIKA teams

• optimizing processes, coordinating and monitoring corrective actions and improvements

• promptly handling complaints and resolving quality-related issues

• training team members for various material groups in quality techniques

Expectations:

• a university degree, technical education or comparable qualifications, combined with many years of professional experience (at least 5 years)

• experience in managing complaints processes

• knowledge necessary to perform the role of auditor

• analytical problem-solving skills

• excellent communication and negotiation skills regarding business terms

• knowledge of cultural differences

• extensive process knowledge across various material groups

• fluent business English, enabling fluent, day-to-day communication

• willingness to travel on business abroad (including outside Europe)

• readiness to work in a team
