Supplier Quality Engineer
Duties:
participating in the supplier selection, development of suppliers in quality aspects, responsible for supplier auditing
implementing appropriate quality and procurement processes
acting as contact person for suppliers on quality-related matters
identifying and implementing best practices in collaboration with suppliers and internal WIKA teams
optimizing processes, coordinating and monitoring corrective actions and improvements
promptly handling complaints and resolving quality-related issues
training team members for various material groups in quality techniques
Expectations:
a university degree, technical education or comparable qualifications, combined with many years of professional experience (at least 5 years)
experience in managing complaints processes
knowledge necessary to perform the role of auditor
analytical problem-solving skills
excellent communication and negotiation skills regarding business terms
knowledge of cultural differences
extensive process knowledge across various material groups
fluent business English, enabling fluent, day-to-day communication
willingness to travel on business abroad (including outside Europe)
readiness to work in a team
