Procurement Manager (Europe/Remote)

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimize procurement processes across IT, SaaS, and professional services.

This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and compliance within a regulated environment.

Requirements:

• Years of experience: 5–8+ years in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management

• Procurement scope: Experience with IT procurement, SaaS contracts, and professional services

• Vendor management: Experience managing strategic suppliers and service providers

• Regulatory exposure: Familiarity with regulated environments (financial services, payments, banking)

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field

• Collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence

• Ability to run structured sourcing processes and evaluate vendors

• Strong commercial negotiation skills with vendors and service providers

• Understanding of legal contracts including MSAs, SLAs, and DPAs

• Ability to assess operational, financial, and cybersecurity risks

• Spend analysis, cost modeling, and ROI evaluation

• Managing multiple internal stakeholders and priorities

• Creating procurement policies and operational processes

• Understanding SaaS, cloud infrastructure, software licensing models

Responsibilities:

• Lead purchasing operations

• Develop procurement policies and best practices

• Maintain procurement documentation and purchasing records

• Vendor & Supplier Management

• Maintain relationships with existing vendors to ensure service quality and pricing competitiveness

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors 

• Cross-functional collaboration (Engineering/IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance/Risk)

• Implement or optimize procurement workflows

• Operate in highly regulated environments
