GL Accountant

About the opportunity: As a GL Accountant, you'll manage the month-end closing process efficiently, prepare various accounting reports ensuring compliance, and perform accurate balance sheet reconciliations. You'll also post recurring journal entries in the ERP system, handling tasks related to intangible assets, prepaid contracts, cost allocations, and bank transactions.

What you will be doing:

• Perform month-end closing process activities in a timely manner
• Prepare various types of accounting reports maintaining compliance
• Ensure that regular balance sheet account reconciliations are understood and correctly reconciled
• Post recurring journal entries in ERP associated with intangible assets, prepaid contracts, cost allocation, bank transactions and other standard monthly operations

What you need to succeed:

• Financial background - preferably Finance or Accounting degree
• Up to 3 years previous work experience in an Finance department
• Good knowledge of English - B2, an additional language will be an asset
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (365), basic knowledge of ERP is an asset
• Willingness to learn and ability to adapt quickly
• Proactive and can-do attitude
