As a Program Manager/Scaled Agile Release Train Engineer at Callstack, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution and delivery of our large-scale projects for our enterprise US-based clients. You will be responsible for building relationships with senior management on the client’s end, monitor completion of program-level objectives, facilitating and optimizing Agile processes across multiple teams (Agile Release Train) to ensure alignment, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of Agile frameworks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.

As a Program Manager/Scaled Agile Release Train Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Serving as a Program Manager/Release Train Engineer (RTE) for a train of agile teams, facilitating and guiding the work of all agile teams within Callstack’s enterprise client organization.
• Coordinating and manage program-level ceremonies such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART-level syncs, and workshops with Product Management and Engineering.
• Providing guidance and coaching to Agile teams and Scrum Masters to ensure adherence to agile practices and continuous improvement.
• Partnership with Product Managers, Product Owners, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment on vision, priorities, and delivery timelines.
• Identifying, tracking, and mitigation risks and dependencies that could impact the successful delivery of the Program/ART objectives.
• Utilization metrics and feedback to drive data-informed decisions and improve Agile teams and ART performance.
• Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance and streamline Agile processes and practices for better outcomes within the client’s organization.
• Being flexible to work in afternoon/evening hours occasionally.
• Taking part in onsite meetings with project stakeholders across the USA and Europe.

Requirements

You are the right candidate if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise project management roles.
• 3+ years of experience as a Program Manager in an agile environment or SAFe RTE.
• Broad knowledge of Agile and SAFe.
• Strong understanding of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) principles, practices, and ceremonies.
• Exceptional communication, workshop facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Experience managing and coordinating multiple Scrum teams within a Program/Agile Release Train.
• Ability to navigate and resolve complex issues and dependencies between teams.
• Demonstrated success in driving the development of big-scale digital products and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
• Previous experience in software development consulting organizations.
• SAFe and Agile Program Management certifications (as a plus).
