Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of French GAAP regulatory reports
- Lead process improvements, including standardization, simplification, automation, and efficiency initiatives
- Support the Finance Change team with new financial products, complex transactions, and system changes
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX, regulations, and procedures.
- Develop a deep understanding of French GAAP reporting to guide departments like Front Office, Tax, and Product Control
- Establish and maintain effective communication with key stakeholders
- Assist in the development of new reporting processes as needed, following changes in Group Finance.
- Investigate and communicate significant reporting variances promptly.
Requirements:
- Experience in financial control, including statutory and regulatory reporting.
- Strong teamwork, engagement, and collaboration skills across Finance Control teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities effectively.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders across different functions and regions.
- Skilled in identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring proper controls in reporting processes.
- Proven track record of driving change and improving team performance.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, etc.) or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge.
- Strong understanding of IFRS accounting and reporting.
- French language skills are a plus.
