    BaseLinker is the largest e-commerce integrator in Europe, trusted by over 27,000 active e-commerce sellers and offering more than 1,000 integrations. We process orders worth over EUR 15 billion annually, helping e-commerce sellers scale and automate their businesses with our advanced modules in order management, marketplace management, product management, price automation, shipping automation, returns management, workflow automation, and B2B collaboration.


    We are on a high-growth trajectory, expanding from around 20 employees in 2021 to approximately 250 in 2024. Our operations span across CEE, DACH, the UK, Brazil, the US, and India.


    BaseLinker is a product perfectly fit for Chinese cross-border sellers, as they are able to list and manage orders on 180 marketplaces globally, including some of the top choice marketplaces for sellers from China (Amazon, eBay, Mercado Libre, Fruugo, Cdiscount, Allegro).

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in generating new business opportunities, establishing strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will play a pivotal role in developing strategic partnerships and expanding our customer base.     Experience

    • Minimum 6+ years of managerial/rounded commercial leadership experience
    • Strategic thinking
    • Structured and analytical in his/her approach
    • Entrepreneurial and “outside the box” thinker, with a track record of launching businesses and scaling them.
    • Knowledge and experience in cross-border ecommerce in China is essential (marketplaces, eShops, ecommerce SaaS Solutions, fulfilment providers, shipping automation companies etc)
    • Excellent at developing & maintaining customer/external relationships/partnerships
    • Strong listening and influencing skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong and inspirational, authentic and engaging people leader
    • Team player with a passion for learning
    • High energy and strong mental endurance
    • Outgoing, friendly and fun
    • Chinese level (min.C1) 

    Nice to have:

    • Combination of professional experience in large companies and in truly entrepreneurial set ups
    • Sales excellence experience

     


    Tasks

    • Assessing the market and developing a well-thought-through strategy for the business (short and medium term)
    • Devising a plan of requirements to execute specific deliverables and gaining approval for them from BaseLinker’s Board
    • Aiming to establish BaseLinker as the first choice provider of e-commerce integration for cross-border sellers in the region
    • Executing the strategy following a clear plan, with focus and resilience to scale the business quickly
    • Driving Business Development initiatives (local partnerships, paid media, email campaigns, offline events, PPC, PR)
    • Managing local relationships with key companies from the ecommerce ecosystem 
    • Building and managing a high-performing organisation, staffed with high-calibre teams (support, business development, implementation & optionally tech)
    • Working cross-functionally with a global tech team to elevate the product
    • Ensuring the deployment of effective marketing approaches
    • Being the face of BaseLinker in the region
