Regional Finance Services Team Lead

The role combines hands-on accounting expertise, people leadership and close cooperation with multiple European stakeholders in a shared services environment.

Your Tasks

• Functional and disciplinary leadership of a regional Finance Services team of 10 Accountant Specialists

• Accountability for 5 European Distribution Centers (DC), especially with regards

  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual closing in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP, including taxes

  • Daily supervision of accounting processes (RTR, Tax, OTC, PTP), providing active operational support on key issues and monitoring relevant KPIs

• Acting as a business partner for statutory obligations, including:

  • Coordination with tax advisors, esp. regarding CIT, VAT

  • Coordination with auditors regarding statutory financial statement

• Driving operational performance through KPIs

• Initiating and following up on harmonization, standardization, and optimization initiatives

• Maintaining a robust backup structure and effective knowledge management

Your Profile

• University degree in Business Administration

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience working as a Team Leader in the RTR department within SSC/BPO structures

• Experience in handling taxes, esp. VAT and CIT

• Experience in OTC/PTP departments will be an additional asset

• Knowledge of international accounting standards and experience in handling tax advisors and auditors

• Broad and in-depth knowledge and expertise in financial systems (SAP FI/CO)
