The Sales Country Manager Poland role will oversee our Polish market in line with our business strategy. Working with the VP Sales EMEA to ensure our operations remain on track to achieve our target goals, enabling business growth and transformation.

 

The role is highly commercial and strategic with a hands-on delivery approach, driving change with their customer focus insight and strong product knowledge.

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead all commercial topics in Poland as well as the local Sales team with professional leadership.

  • Manage the commercial relationships with our key customers in Poland. You will lead the customer activity plan, Joint Business Planning and internal forecast.

  • Be responsible for delivering against the sales and profit targets, which is set joint by us and the customer KPIs, including engaging with field sales to engage team to focus on key customer priorities

  • Launch innovation with excellence – planning and executing innovation in their retailers

  • Executing our instore strategy both on and off line against defined KPIs

  • Responsible for their customers trade spend budget and driving the best ROI linked to the EMEA guidance.

  • Solve any problems logically, work through an issue and present options to Management for company wide solutions

  • Contribute, as a member of the EMEA commercial lead team, to business discussions and provide customer insights and data to drive better business decisions.

  • Be a key driver in supporting the development of the EMEA region and maintaining a high-performance team.

 

COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in (ideally) FMCG where you will be used to growing and retaining business in national companies

  • Good knowledge of the English language

  • Strong analytical background and ability to structure large amounts of data and information to draw conclusions and make proposals making the most of your highly tuned negotiation skills

  • Passion for performance and execution, speed, drive and willingness to make a difference

  • Collaborative and partnership spirit but with an entrepreneurial spirit with strength in spotting opportunities within the market

  • Target and deadline focussed

  • Strong relationship building skills, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers as well as experience in working with joint business plans.

  • Strong work ethic – with a focus on delivering outstanding results

  • The ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment

  • Advocate of change and drive transformation

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong MSOffice skills with advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral), you are outgoing, communicative and seek to build relationships on a daily basis.

  • Experienced at working with speed, pragmatism, and professionalism.

  • Ability to solve problems and logically work through an issue and present options to Management for company wide solutions.

  • Strong change leadership experience – has provided frameworks, influence, and challenge to senior teams to identify and drive through organization.

  • A natural ability to be organised in how you think, communicate, and conduct your work.
