About the department
The IT Operations and Support department is the backbone of Coloplast’s IT landscape and a crucial part of the Digital, Data & IT division. Our teams ensure the seamless, secure, and efficient delivery of IT services to colleagues around the globe. We monitor, maintain, and protect the systems and networks that empower our business, supporting innovation, business continuity, and user experience 24/7. About the Role
You will oversee Global IT Alert Team that operates around the clock, 24/7/365, dedicated to monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving global IT events across servers, networks, security, and communication systems. In this role, you will not only support Coloplast users worldwide with a wide range of IT issues but also play a significant part in IT Security Operations, serve as an escalation point for complex incidents, and ensure the continual delivery of operational excellence.
Additionally, this role involves participating in various projects and being part of the extended leadership team in Digital, Data & IT and the CPBC extended management. You will have many interactions with different business functions within Coloplast, ultimately supporting the company's overall business operations.
Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop a geographically dispersed team of IT Alert Supporters and Specialists working in shifts around the clock
Oversee the IT alert response process by ensuring timely identification, escalation, and resolution of critical issues to minimize business impact
Drive business continuity by focusing on team performance, process optimization, and continuous improvements
Deliver hands-on support and internal IT guidance in English to Coloplast colleagues globally, including assistance with computers, mobile devices, IT systems, unified communications, and IT security (incident detection and response)
Ensure accurate and thorough logging and handling of incidents, requests, and events within our ticketing system
Ensure alignment with global IT processes, policies, and service level agreements
Participate in key projects, audits, and post-acquisition integrations
Requirements
At least 3-5 years of people management experience - capable of leading, inspiring, and setting direction for diverse, distributed teams
Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, support, and security concepts (including servers, networks, LAN/WAN/WLAN, Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Office, and mobile platforms)
Good understanding of the complexity and dependencies within an international IT environment
Experience with IT security standards such as ISO 27001 is a strong advantage.
ITIL certification or knowledge will be an asset
Fluent spoken and written English
Competences
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, enabling smooth collaboration with business and stakeholders
Self-managed with the ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to work in high-pressure environments and handle multiple priorities
Ambitious, resilient, proactive, and driven to deliver outstanding results
Willingness to work occasional shifts, as required, to maintain team continuity

Employment contract with 3-month-long probationary period
