Responsibilities
- Taking an active part in the full accounting process of subsidiaries, including period-end closing, reconciliation, and analysis of accounting accounts to ensure accuracy of entries
- Preparing reports as part of assigned accounting and financial duties
- Processing payments, including supplier invoices and client withdrawals
- Controlling and verifying accounting documents, including booking purchase invoices and bank statements in the accounting system
- Performing daily reconciliation of balances and settlement of accounts
- Cooperating with other departments in the area of cash control, client transactions, and reconciliation of client cash balances
- Supporting the execution of client cash withdrawals for branch clients
- Participating in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Preparing documentation and accounting books for audit and cooperating with external auditors
- Collaborating within the group with the Main Accountant, Controlling, Tax, and Local Agents
- Working with accounting systems such as MIcrosoft Dynamics, Exact and Synergy
- Contributing to process improvements and cross-reporting initiatives within the team
Requirements
- Higher education in Finance and Accounting
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting position
- Knowledge of the Polish Accounting Act
- Understanding of financial instruments, including Forex-related topics
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
- High level of commitment, availability, and sense of responsibility
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills

- Experience gained in an investment company, financial institution, or law firm providing services to financial or banking sector entities
- SQL
