What is Your role

 

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is part of the Embla Medical global People function. In this role you will provide effective People support to the business and align the business and People strategies to applicable programs and procedures. You will promote the People Delivery Model, with the goal to simplify People-related processes and procedures, and ultimately improving the employee experience. In addition, you will collaborate closely with the HR team of the Demant organization, especially when it comes to employment contracts, recruitment, payroll and related matters.

 

In the role you will support the Shared Service Center (SSC), located in Szczecin, Poland. The SSC is the home to approximately 150 employees who provide transactional and administrative processes to the Embla Medical organization, and the expectation is that this number will grow and more services will be provided in the SSC. 

 

The position will be based in Szczecin and report to the Director HR Europe in the Netherlands, and you will work closely with the SSC Site Leader as well as various other stakeholders.

What tasks are waiting for you?

  • Develop and execute the People strategy, aligning with business priorities and organizational culture; serve as the first point of contact for managers on people-related matters.
  • Drive leadership development through talent reviews, succession planning, and interventions; proactively address talent issues impacting the business.
  • Play a key role in talent acquisition and employer branding in collaboration with the recruitment team, contributing to the attraction and retention of top talent.
  • Coach and support leadership to inspire teams and deliver on their purpose, while also managing employee relations and resolving conflicts.
  • Support change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, ensuring alignment with company values through the design and execution of HR programs and policies.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives by measuring organizational health and analyzing critical HR metrics to inform decisions.
  • Coordinate performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and regional learning and development programs, including facilitating training and workshops.
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to ensure competitive compensation and benefits, and contribute to the implementation of HR technology solutions (Workday).


Apply today if you have:

  • At least 5 years of working in an HR-related position, in an international setting, preferably in a shared service environment
  • Bachelor degree required
  • Effective communication and influencing skills with an eye for cultural awareness
  • Has proven experience with transformation processes and good knowledge of change management
  • Professional verbal, written and presentation skills (in English and Polish language)
  • Has a pro-active and make-it-work attitude
