Junior Financial Controller

Key Activities: 

• Monitoring of Revenue recognition, costs allocations, WIPS and accruals; analysis of margins and detection of problems and anomalies.
• Providing relevant commercial information and analysis to the business and strategic issues responsible parties.
• Maintaining controlling tools to monitor expenses.
• Processing or monitoring orders of buying, service, rental and leasing deals
• Maintenance of the projects in the Information systems
• Analyzing problems encountered on the Projects, and recommending corresponding solutions.
• Acting as first point of contact with project financial matters to organization’s sales and delivery departments.
• Identification and effective control of financial risks
• Monitoring profitability of assigned project, and ensuring the adherence of project plans
• Promoting personal development and continuous improvement culture within the team

Key requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field (or studies in progress)
• 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in Controlling
• Accounting knowledge and excellent understanding of financial processes
• Willingness to focus on the mechanisms of a P&L, Balance Sheet and IFRS
• English fluency at the B2 level
• Good working knowledge of SAP software system, MS Excel and workflow technology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to details and analytical skills 
• Proactive behavior and a commitment to continuous learning
• Certifications or additional accounting courses in progress (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) nice to have
• Experience in working with one of the ERP system: SAP (FI / CO / SD modules) or Oracle nice to have
