Financial Controller - HGP

In this role of Financial Controller, you will provide business partnering and financial leadership to Heineken Global Procurement, driving improved insights, decision making, and performance. Also, you will ensure robust financial control, compliance, and predictability for HGP as a legal entity, supporting both operational and strategic objectives.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Manage FP&A, RtR, OtC, and PtP finance processes within HGSS

• Oversee period-end close for HGP financials (OP, balance sheet, FTE, Capex)

• Coordinate Off Balance Commitments (OBC) between HGSS, HGP buyers, and auditors

• Conduct business performance reviews for Heineken Global Procurement

• Lead the HGP financial planning cycle (Annual Plan, Strategic Plan, Rolling Forecasts)

• Ensure timely and accurate charging of HGP fees under the Center Led Procurement model; conduct audits with Procurement Enablement to minimize fee leakage

• Oversee Commodity Hedges, including mark-to-market valuation, settlements for ~30 OpCos ( Operating Companies)

• Manage Renewable Energy (VPPA) quarterly reporting for 13 European OpCos

• Ensure compliance and effective operation of Supplier Finance programs across 20+ OpCos 

• Drive continuous improvement in business control, cost consciousness, and decision support through insights, business cases, scenario modelling, and cross-functional projects (e.g. Evergreen 2030).

You are a good candidate if you have:

• Education: Master in business economics or accounting & control (CIMA) or MBA

• Work Experience: 8+ Years of relevant experience in Finance, with experience with automated systems

• Experience preferred with hedge accounting, VPPA’s and procurement

• Functional Skills: Finance knowledge, analytical skills, strong communicator

• Languages: English (excellent verbal & written skills)

• Strong communication skills for managing relationships with senior stakeholders across the business

• Building collaborative relationships, change management, influencing skills, and excellent presentation.
