Your responsibilities

• Hybrid job in Wrocław/Kraków with regular business trips to the office in Kraków/Wrocław;
• Partner with top management to analyze, optimize or change internal accounting and finance processes, document flows etc.
• Manage relations with external accounting company and over time create internal accounting team;
• Implement and manage internal and external reporting tools and systems;
• Cooperate which various departments, finance evaluation and support of investments strategies and projects;
• Optimize financial flows;
• Create and prepare financial analyzes, reports and forecasting results to support decisions in a dynamically changing organization;
• Cooperate with Group peers at German and French HQ.
• Ensure that all accounting transactions and reports are recorded accurately in compliance with regulations

Our requirements

• Master’s/Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/similar profile and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or Master’s/Bachelor's degree and minimum 4 years of experience on similar position;
• Highly developed numerical and analytical skills;
• Strong business acumen;
• Natural inclination to take initiative;
• Good work organizational skills;
• Fluent in written and spoken English;
• Knowledge of Workday, Salesforce, SAP various reporting and accounting software as well as audit experience will be advantageous.
• General knowledge about Polish tax system and accounting;
• General knowledge of IFRS

About Us

Webedia Group, a multinational company owning a network of leading media outlets, digital creators and production studios. In Poland it owns Webedia Polska SA, a leading gaming media outlet with offices in Kraków, and GetHero Sp. z o.o., major digital influencer marketing agency with offices in Wrocław. Dynamical growth of both, as well as standardization of processes between various international assets of the Webedia Group, causes the need to transition reporting accounting (and with time, also tax accounting) from external accounting team to in-house solution. We are looking for a great candidate, who will be willing to learn our business and be a leader of this change. This position will report directly to management boards of both companies, and is required to work independently and without supervision.
